Divorce Program and NJ Human Trafficking Survivors Legal Assistance Program

Victoria is a staff attorney working on VLJ’s Divorce Program and New Jersey Human Trafficking Survivors Legal Assistance Program. Prior to joining VLJ, Victoria worked at Northeast New Jersey Legal Services (NNJLS), providing direct client services and representation with the Public Entitlements Unit. In 2023, she was awarded the Legal Services of New Jersey "Rising Star" award for her commitment and dedication to public interest practice. She was also the union president for the attorney's union at NNJLS. 

During law school, Victoria was a member of several student organizations, including the Women's Law Forum, the Public Interest Student Foundation, and If/When/How for Reproductive Justice. She also served on the e-board of the Student Bar Association. Victoria interned at NNJLS, the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights. Additionally, she participated in two legal clinics: the Constitutional Rights Clinic and the International Human Rights Clinic. After law school, she clerked for the Hon. Robert J. Jones in Middlesex County, primarily in Recovery Court, but also worked on expungements and municipal appeals. 

Victoria earned a bachelor's degree in creative writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School; she is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

Victoria was proudly born and raised in the Greenville neighborhood of Jersey City, providing her with a close-to-home perspective on race, poverty, and injustice.
