Become a Pro Bono Volunteer

Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ) has volunteer opportunities for attorneys and non-attorneys to work alongside VLJ’s committed staff and network of community partners to provide civil legal services to New Jerseyans experiencing poverty.

Attorneys

If you are a lawyer admitted to practice in New Jersey (or admitted and in good standing in another state) and would like to volunteer with VLJ, please submit a new attorney volunteer form.

Non-Attorneys

Non-attorney volunteers play a key role in working with VLJ staff and volunteer attorneys to assist clients seeking services with VLJ and helping them move forward in resolving their legal issue(s). Please review this webpage for more information and to register.

internships

If you are a law student or recent graduate seeking an internship with VLJ, please review this webpage to see if any current opportunities are available.
