How VLJ Can Help

VLJ provides FREE legal services to people with certain civil (non-criminal) legal issues.  You should know that:

  • You will be asked for information about your household’s income and property
  • Some VLJ programs are open to anyone in the state, while others are limited to specific counties
  • Until you sign a retainer agreement with a VLJ attorney, you are responsible for meeting all deadlines in your legal matter
