ReLeSe (Reentry Legal Services) Driver's License Restoration Program

In this by-appointment clinic, lawyers review your New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) history, identify the sources of suspensions on your New Jersey driver’s license and help you to navigate the municipal court and MVC systems. To qualify, you must be an Essex County resident, meet our financial guidelines, have a criminal background, and be screened at one of our three referral partner sites.  At the referral site, you will apply for services and will get a consent form that will authorize the MVC to release information about your driving record to VLJ.
